Key Responsibilities
- Teach Social Science to students from Class 6 to 8
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and social responsibility
- Engage with parents through regular progress updates and parent-teacher meetings
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide initiatives
- Participate in school events and activities that promote social science awareness
- Develop and maintain a resource room for Social Science materials and resources
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Social Science education and integrate them into the curriculum
Required Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree in Social Science or related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory
