PGT Music Teacher – Gd Goenka School, Namkum, Ranchi, Jharkhand
The school is looking for a full‑time PGT Music Teacher to join its faculty at Gd Goenka School, located in Namkum, Ranchi. The role involves delivering music curriculum to senior classes and fostering a creative learning environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct classroom sessions in music theory, vocal training, and instrumental practice for classes XI and XII.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments aligned with the prescribed syllabus.
- Evaluate student performances, provide constructive feedback, and maintain academic records.
Additional Responsibilities
- Organise and supervise co‑curricular music events, concerts and inter‑school competitions.
- Mentor students for participation in state and national level music festivals.
- Contribute to the development of the school’s music program and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications
- Post‑graduate degree in Music or related discipline.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory.
- TET/CTET certification preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in music at the senior secondary level.
Compensation
- Salary: Rs.40,000 – Rs.55,000 per month.
