About This Role

Key Responsibilities
Plan weekly Psychology lessons aligned with CBSE guidelines for PGT classes.
Prepare question banks, assignments, and practical activities for XI and XII students.
Conduct formative and summative assessments including mid-term and annual exams.
Organize classroom discussions on mental health, developmental psychology, and research methods.
Guide students for CBSE Psychology projects and viva voce examinations.
Maintain attendance registers and submit monthly progress reports to the head of department.
Collaborate with subject teachers for inter-disciplinary activities and parent-teacher meetings.
Participate in school events such as Science Week and Mental Health Awareness campaigns.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in Psychology with minimum 55% marks.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from a recognized institution.
Two years of full-time teaching experience in Psychology at secondary or senior secondary level.
Good to Have
D.El.Ed or equivalent qualification for secondary teaching exposure.
TET/CTET certification in Psychology or Social Studies.
Preferred Skills
Strong classroom management skills with adolescent learners.
Familiarity with CBSE Psychology syllabus and sample papers.
Ability to integrate ICT tools for interactive teaching.
Basic counseling skills for student support.
Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
