Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare lesson plans aligned with NCERT Science syllabus for Classes 1–5.
2. Conduct hands-on Science experiments and demonstrations in class.
3. Maintain classroom discipline and ensure safety during lab activities.
4. Assess student understanding through quizzes, projects, and practicals.
5. Prepare monthly progress reports for parents and coordinators.
6. Organize Science exhibitions and field trips for junior classes.
7. Attend weekly subject meetings with the Science department.
8. Use digital tools like PowerPoint and videos to explain concepts.
9. Support school events such as Science Day and Annual Day.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Science (BSc) with minimum 50% marks
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
- 2 years of full-time teaching experience in primary Science
- Fluency in English and Hindi
- Ability to teach in both classroom and lab settings
Good to Have
- CTET or TET qualified
- Experience in CBSE-affiliated schools
- Knowledge of local Jharkhand educational practices
- Familiarity with child psychology and inclusive teaching
- Participation in Science workshops or Olympiads
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication and demonstration skills
- Ability to simplify complex Science topics for young learners
- Experience with low-cost Science experiments using local materials
- Basic computer skills for lesson planning and reporting
- Patience and enthusiasm for primary-level Science teaching
