What You Will Do
1. Teach Hindi grammar, literature, and writing skills to students in Grades 6–8.
2. Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback on student progress.
3. Organize classroom activities that improve listening, speaking, and reading in Hindi.
4. Prepare students for Hindi recitation, debate, and cultural programs at school.
5. Maintain attendance records and submit progress reports on time.
6. Collaborate with other Hindi teachers to share teaching resources and strategies.
7. Use digital tools like interactive whiteboards and educational apps where possible.
8. Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events related to Hindi.
9. Support school initiatives such as Hindi Diwas and literary competitions.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in Hindi with minimum 50% marks.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution.
- Teaching experience of at least 2 years in a school.
- Fluency in Hindi and English.
- Valid TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Good to Have
- Experience teaching Hindi in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Familiarity with NEP 2020 and its language learning guidelines.
- Knowledge of modern teaching methods for Hindi as a second language.
- Participation in Hindi language workshops or seminars.
- Ability to teach through stories, poems, and plays in Hindi.
Preferred Skills
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to engage students with interactive and fun learning methods.
- Basic computer skills for lesson planning and digital teaching aids.
- Patience and adaptability to work with students of varying abilities.
- Willingness to participate in extracurricular Hindi activities.
