- Prepare and implement lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations
- Develop and maintain a safe and well-equipped lab environment for Biology experiments
- Supervise and mentor students in lab work and other activities
- Mark and provide feedback on student assignments and exams
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school decision-making processes
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on Biology curriculum and teaching methods
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement and motivation in Biology classes
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this PGT Biology Teacher position, you must have a Master's degree in Biology or a related field, with a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree. CTET or TET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
