Lead the Evs curriculum planning for two NTT sections and prepare quarterly resource kits using low-cost, reusable materials. Coordinate with the senior Evs faculty to ensure continuity from pre-primary into Grade 1 without gaps.
Conduct monthly field excursions within a 10-kilometre radius of the school—parks, farms, or recycling units—to reinforce classroom learning. Organize Evs exhibitions where children display their projects on water conservation or waste segregation.
Provide gentle academic support to students showing early signs of difficulty in Evs vocabulary or observation skills. Maintain anecdotal records for each child to track progress in inquiry and reporting.
Assist in preparing NTT learners for the small school-level Evs fair held every December. Coach children to present observations using simple charts and models in English and Kannada.
Monitor and document student portfolios that include drawings, leaf collections, and short write-ups on plants and animals seen at home.
Support the school’s zero-waste initiatives by guiding children to segregate classroom waste and create compost bins.
Who Can Apply
Graduates with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution are eligible. Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of classroom experience in Evs teaching at the pre-primary or early primary level.
TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Fluency in Kannada and English is necessary to interact with students and parents in Belagavi.
