Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging economics lessons tailored to students aged 16–18. Incorporate case studies, group discussions, and interactive projects to enhance learning outcomes. Prepare and maintain lesson plans, syllabi, and assessment materials that meet academic benchmarks.
Collaborate with the economics faculty and subject coordinators to refine teaching strategies. Actively participate in departmental meetings and curriculum reviews to ensure alignment with national and state educational policies. Support students with special needs through inclusive teaching practices where possible.
Qualification
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a post-graduate qualification in Economics or a related field. A strong academic background in economics, including research or teaching experience, is essential. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
Experience
Four years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level is mandatory. Prior experience in economics teaching, particularly in a school environment, will be highly advantageous. Familiarity with Karnataka’s syllabus and examination patterns is beneficial.
Compensation
