Qualification and Experience Requirement

Role Enablement
With a postgraduate qualification and substantial classroom experience, the teacher will design and deliver comprehensive physical education curricula that meet state standards. The background equips the instructor to assess student fitness levels, develop individualized training plans, and integrate modern sports science principles into daily lessons.
Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and evaluate Physical Education classes for classes 6 to 12, ensuring alignment with the Karnataka state syllabus.
- Create engaging lesson plans that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Organise intra‑school sports events, inter‑school competitions, and extracurricular activities, coordinating with school administration.
- Monitor student progress, maintain attendance records, and prepare performance reports for parents and school authorities.
- Maintain and inspect sports equipment and facilities, ensuring safety standards are upheld.
- Collaborate with teachers from other departments to integrate physical activity into broader educational programmes.
- Mentor and support junior staff and student coaches, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in sports education, attending workshops and training sessions as required.
Salary and Location
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from Rs.40,000 to Rs.50,000 per month, payable on a full‑time basis. The role is based in Bengaluru, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka, at Soundarya Central School | Karnataka.
