This role focuses on designing engaging and skill-based physical education programs while ensuring alignment with the school’s broader academic and developmental goals. With a focus on structured learning, you will develop lesson plans that blend theory with practical activities, catering to students of varying abilities.
As a PGT, your responsibilities will include crafting well-structured lesson modules that integrate fundamental sports techniques, fitness principles, and teamwork dynamics. Curriculum alignment will be key—ensuring activities reflect the school’s curriculum framework while adapting to student needs. Your expertise will shape how physical education is taught, from basic drills to competitive events, ensuring every session is both educational and enjoyable.
Assessment design is another critical aspect of this role. You will create fair and effective evaluation methods, such as skill tests, participation records, and performance-based assessments. Tracking student progress will involve analyzing performance data to identify strengths and areas needing improvement, allowing for targeted support. Your assessments will not only measure physical abilities but also encourage a growth mindset among learners.
Lesson planning will require a deep understanding of developmental psychology and age-appropriate activities. You will organize sessions that balance structured learning with creative freedom, ensuring students engage actively while developing lifelong fitness habits. Collaboration with other faculty members will also be essential, as physical education often complements academic subjects by promoting discipline, teamwork, and overall well-being.
This position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month, along with the opportunity to shape a dynamic and inclusive physical education program at one of Belagavi’s premier institutions. With four years of teaching experience under your belt, you will bring a proven track record of inspiring students through physical activity while maintaining high educational standards.
