Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging physics lessons tailored to students’ learning levels. Prepare detailed lesson plans incorporating real-world applications and interactive experiments. Monitor student progress through quizzes, assignments, and periodic assessments. Maintain a structured classroom environment while ensuring safety in hands-on physics activities.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update syllabus-based teaching resources, including worksheets, lab manuals, and visual aids. Collaborate with the physics department to organize departmental meetings and curriculum reviews. Participate in school-wide faculty development workshops on physics pedagogy. Ensure compliance with school policies on grading, attendance, and extracurricular activities.
Periodic Responsibilities
Coordinate with senior faculty to assess student performance in physics exams and provide constructive feedback. Organize physics-related competitions, science fairs, or guest lectures to enrich student learning. Review and update the school’s physics lab equipment inventory and maintenance schedules.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Physics with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum two years of teaching experience in physics at the secondary or senior secondary level. Familiarity with TET/CTET guidelines is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills in English and Kannada are essential.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary of Rs.38,000 to Rs.65,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The position is based in Kengeri, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka, with opportunities for career growth within Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School. Travel expenses for attending school events may be reimbursed as per policy.
