Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging dance lessons for Primary (PRT) students, aligning activities with the school’s curriculum and cultural calendar.
Plan and conduct regular practice sessions, rehearsals for school functions, and inter‑school competitions in Bengaluru Urban.
Assess student progress through practical demonstrations and provide constructive feedback to nurture talent.
Maintain a safe studio environment, ensuring all equipment and flooring meet safety standards.
Collaborate with art and physical education teachers to integrate dance with broader school events and festivals.
Prepare lesson plans, attendance registers, and performance reports for the school administration.
Qualifications
Graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Dance or related field.
TET/CTET qualification preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in Indian classical and contemporary dance forms.
Preferred Attributes
Good communication skills in English and Kannada.
Ability to motivate young learners and manage a diverse classroom.
Familiarity with local cultural events and school celebrations in Karnataka.
