Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging EVS lessons that align with the NCERT curriculum and the school’s eco‑friendly initiatives.
Prepare practical activities, field trips and project work that develop students’ awareness of local environmental issues in Bengaluru Urban.
Assess student progress through worksheets, quizzes and observation, providing feedback that encourages sustainable habits.
Collaborate with science and social studies teachers to integrate environmental themes across subjects.
Maintain classroom resources, display boards and a green learning environment in line with Narayana Co School’s sustainability focus.
Organise and supervise school‑wide EVS events such as tree planting drives and cleanliness campaigns.
Participate in parent‑teacher meetings to discuss student growth in environmental understanding and suggest home‑based activities.
Preferred Attributes
Good communication skills in English and Kannada, ability to relate to children from diverse backgrounds, and a passion for nurturing eco‑conscious citizens.
