About This Role
The Oxford English School Bengaluru has an opening for a full-time Primary Research Teacher (PRT) Evs in our school in Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka. The PRT Evs Teacher will be responsible for teaching Environmental Studies (Evs) to students from grade 1 to 5.
What You Will Do
- Plan and implement Evs lessons for students from grade 1 to 5.
- Create engaging Evs activities and projects to enhance student learning.
- Conduct regular assessment and evaluations to track student progress.
- Maintain a classroom environment that promotes learning and discipline.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop a cohesive curriculum.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Develop and implement a plan for student achievement and improvement.
- Monitor and record student attendance and progress.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school decision-making processes.
- Participate in school events and activities.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized institution.
- 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Good understanding of the curriculum and teaching methods.
Good to Have
- TET or CTET certification.
- Experience in teaching Evs or Science subjects.
- Knowledge of educational technology and its applications.
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a salary of Rs.18,000 - Rs.30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include paid leaves, medical insurance, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
