Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Kannada lessons for classes IX and X in accordance with the state syllabus. Develop teaching aids, visual materials and interactive activities that cater to diverse learning styles. Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to help learners improve. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and lesson plans as per school policy. Coordinate with senior teachers and the head of department to align curriculum delivery and participate in staff meetings. Organize extra‑curricular Kannada events, such as literary competitions, drama and poetry recitations, to promote student participation. Provide remedial support to students who need additional help and liaise with parents to discuss progress and address concerns. Uphold school discipline, attend professional development workshops and contribute to the overall academic growth of the institution.
Qualification and experience
A post‑graduate degree in Kannada or a related field is essential. B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required for teaching at the TGT level. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of teaching experience in a school setting. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, it will be considered an advantage.
Salary and location
