Job Description
Responsibilities
TGT Physical Education Teacher will design and implement engaging physical education programs that promote fitness, teamwork and healthy lifestyles among students.
Plan daily lessons, conduct drills, and manage sports equipment, ensuring safety and inclusivity.
Coordinate school sports events, inter‑school tournaments and annual athletics meets, fostering school spirit and student participation.
Maintain detailed records of student performance, attendance and injury reports, providing feedback to parents and school administrators.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate physical activity into broader learning objectives, supporting holistic development.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in Physical Education or related field.
B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. mandatory; TET/CTET preferred but not required.
Experience
Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in a school setting, with a proven track record of delivering dynamic PE lessons and managing student teams.
Salary
Competitive remuneration ranging from Rs.25,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
