Core duties cover curriculum development, student assessment, and resource management. The teacher will prepare students for state-level exams and extracurricular events like art fairs or cultural programs. Regular interaction with parents and school management will ensure alignment with educational goals, particularly in rural settings where fine arts education is vital for cultural preservation.
A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory, with a postgraduate qualification in Fine Arts preferred. Three years of teaching experience, preferably in schools, is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage. Experience in rural education settings is a plus.
