Key Responsibilities
Plan, deliver and assess undergraduate Hindi courses in accordance with the college curriculum and UGC guidelines.
Design lecture notes, presentations and supplementary learning material that cater to diverse student abilities.
Conduct regular tutorial sessions, mentor students on research projects and guide them in academic writing in Hindi.
Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum review committees and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Hindi programme.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and assessment reports as per institutional policy.
Engage in community outreach activities, language workshops and cultural events that promote Hindi literature and heritage.
Required Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Hindi with at least 55% marks from a recognized university.
NET/SET qualification is mandatory; UGC‑NET in Hindi is preferred.
Ph.D. in Hindi or related field is desirable but not essential.
Demonstrated proficiency in modern Hindi literature, linguistics and pedagogy.
Clear background check and eligibility to work in India.
