Design and deliver engaging lectures on core philosophy topics such as ethics, metaphysics, epistemology, and political philosophy. Adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning levels, ensuring students grasp abstract concepts through practical examples and discussions. Facilitate group projects, debates, and case studies to encourage analytical reasoning and moral reasoning skills.
Assess student understanding through written exams, oral presentations, and reflective essays, ensuring fair and standardized evaluation. Collaborate with the school’s curriculum team to refine philosophy syllabi and integrate philosophical perspectives into interdisciplinary studies. Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to school-wide academic planning.
Hold regular parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance and philosophical development. Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore philosophical ideas without fear. Mentor junior teachers or students interested in philosophy, sharing insights and best practices in the subject.
The ideal candidate will hold a postgraduate degree in Philosophy with at least two years of teaching experience. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory, though TET/CTET certification is not required for this role. The salary for this position is Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 70,000 per month, with full-time employment in a vibrant academic setting.
