PRT Music Teacher Job in Brahmavara, Udupi
Teach fundamental music theory, vocal, and instrumental lessons to students from Class I to VIII. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with Karnataka’s curriculum while incorporating cultural music traditions.
Plan and conduct weekly music classes, including group and individual sessions. Use age-appropriate teaching methods to enhance students’ musical skills and creativity.
Prepare and maintain student portfolios documenting progress in singing, rhythm, and basic composition. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into school events and extracurricular activities.
Ensure proper maintenance of school music instruments and equipment. Assist in organizing school performances, concerts, and music festivals.
Teach basic music notation, scales, and simple compositions. Guide students in performing traditional and contemporary Indian music styles.
Qualifications and Salary:
Hold a graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Three years of relevant teaching experience preferred. No TET/CTET required for this role. Salary offered is Rs.18,000 to Rs.35,000 per month. Full-time position in Brahmavara, Udupi.
