PRT Dance Teacher Job in Mumbai City, Maharastra | School Recruitment
Billabong High International School in Mumbai City seeks an experienced PRT Dance Teacher to lead its vibrant dance programs, blending creativity with structured learning. Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach dance classes following Billabong High International School’s curriculum, ensuring alignment with national education standards.
2. Develop and implement age-appropriate dance lessons, incorporating modern and classical styles to engage students effectively.
3. Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain a supportive learning atmosphere.
4. Organize school-wide dance events, performances, and cultural festivals to showcase student talent.
5. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate dance into interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular activities.
6. Maintain discipline and safety protocols during dance practice sessions, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
7. Prepare and update teaching materials, including video clips, music playlists, and lesson plans.
8. Assist in organizing parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance and progress in dance.
To qualify, the candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Dance or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Prior teaching experience in a school setting, particularly in dance, is mandatory. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
This PRT Dance Teacher position offers a full-time contract with a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience. The role is based in Mumbai City, Maharashtra.
