About This Role
Delhi Public School Lava Nagpur is looking for an Accountant Assistant to support its finance and administration team. The role is based in Nagpur City, Nagpur and offers a stable full‑time position in a well‑established school environment.
What You Will Do
1. Maintain daily cash book, bank reconciliation and petty cash accounts.
2. Process tuition fee receipts, generate invoices and assist in fee collection reporting.
3. Record and verify school expenses, vouchers and supporting documents.
4. Assist the senior accountant in preparing monthly financial statements and MIS reports.
5. Coordinate with vendors, handle purchase orders and ensure timely payments.
6. Support audit preparation by organizing financial records and responding to queries.
7. Update and maintain the school’s accounting software and ensure data accuracy.
8. Liaise with the school administration for budgeting, payroll assistance and other financial queries.
Who Can Apply
Candidates should have a postgraduate degree in commerce, finance or related field. Minimum three years of experience in school or corporate accounting is required. Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software and basic internet tools is essential.
