Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver Social Science lessons aligned with school standards and Nagpur’s educational needs. Conduct interactive sessions on local history, state geography, and civic responsibilities. Organize field trips to landmarks like the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium or Raman Science Centre to enhance learning.
Collaborate with parents during PTMs to discuss student progress in Social Science subjects. Involve the community by inviting local historians or activists for guest talks. Prepare students for state-level competitions like the Maharashtra Social Science Olympiad.
Who Can Apply
Graduates with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Social Science are eligible. Prior teaching experience of at least 2 years is required. While TET/CTET is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
