What You Will Do
1. Receive, verify and record all incoming goods, maintaining accurate stock registers.
2. Issue stationery, sports equipment, and other consumables to teachers and staff as per requisition forms.
3. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with the inventory system.
4. Maintain a tidy, secure storage area complying with safety and fire regulations.
5. Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery and negotiate best rates for school supplies.
6. Prepare monthly stock reports for the principal and finance department.
7. Assist in budgeting by forecasting consumption trends and suggesting cost‑effective alternatives.
8. Handle minor repairs of equipment and arrange servicing for larger assets.
Required Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in any discipline is mandatory. Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Excel and inventory management software is essential. Prior experience of at least 3 years in a similar store‑keeping or inventory role, preferably in an educational setting, is required.
