Day-to-Day Duties

Guide junior staff in lesson planning, classroom management, and student engagement strategies.
Organize weekly department meetings to review curriculum pacing and address challenges faced by Physics teachers in Kallam. Lead the preparation of students for practical exams and board assessments, ensuring consistent performance improvements year on year. Collaborate with the school leadership to introduce innovative teaching methods such as digital labs or project-based learning.
Coordinate with the school’s academic coordinator to align Physics content with upcoming Olympiads and competitive exams. Mentor TGT Physics teachers through classroom observations and constructive feedback sessions. Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, student performance, and departmental resources.
Who Can Apply
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Physics with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum 5 years of teaching experience as a Physics teacher in secondary schools is required. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience in coaching students for board exams and Olympiads is a strong advantage. Familiarity with Maharashtra State Board syllabus and assessment patterns is essential. Knowledge of student-centered teaching approaches will be considered during selection.
