About This Role
Delhi Public School Hinjawadi is looking for a dedicated professional to manage student career guidance services in Punecity, Pune. This full‑time position supports students from class 9 to 12 with planning, counseling and exposure to higher education pathways.
What You Will Do
1. Conduct one‑on‑one counseling sessions to help students identify strengths and career interests.
2. Organise workshops, seminars and industry visits that showcase various professional streams.
3. Maintain updated databases of colleges, entrance exams and scholarship opportunities.
4. Collaborate with parents, teachers and senior management to design individualized career plans.
5. Prepare and present periodic reports on student progress and placement trends.
6. Lead the Career Counsellor Job in Pune initiatives such as aptitude testing and mock interviews.
7. Stay current with Maharashtra education policies and assist the school in complying with career counseling standards.
8. Support the school’s counseling centre in managing resources and promotional activities.
Required Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education or related field. B.Ed/D.El.Ed is preferred for understanding school environments. Minimum three years of experience in school counseling or career guidance. Proficiency in MS Office, internet research and basic data management tools.
