Dance Teacher Job in Pune, Maharastra | School Vacancy — Immediate requirement.
Role Summary
Sankalp International School Pune invites applications for the position of Dance Teacher. The role involves planning and executing a structured dance curriculum for students aged 5 to 16. The Dance Teacher will also support school events, assemblies, and inter-school competitions with choreography and stage management.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Design age-appropriate dance modules aligned with school learning outcomes.
2. Conduct weekly dance sessions for three different grade groups in the morning or after school.
3. Choreograph group performances for annual day, sports day, and cultural fairs.
4. Maintain discipline and safety during dance rehearsals and ensure proper warm-up routines.
5. Collaborate with music and art departments to integrate dance with school themes.
6. Organize auditions for school teams and prepare selected students for inter-school contests.
7. Document student progress, attendance, and feedback in weekly reports for the principal.
8. Assist in procuring costumes, props, and sound equipment for dance events.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Diploma or certification in dance (Bharatanatyam, Kathak, contemporary, hip-hop) from a reputed institute. Basic computer skills for maintaining attendance sheets and communicating with parents. Fluency in English and Marathi is preferred.

What You Get
