PGT - Accountancy in Pune, Maharastra | College Recruitment
Crescent High School & Junior College | Pune is looking for a seasoned PGT in Accountancy to join its faculty in Haveli, Pune, Maharastra. The candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and academic leadership within the department, fostering a rigorous learning environment for undergraduate students.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for undergraduate Accountancy courses, ensuring alignment with the college curriculum and assessment standards.
Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessment tools that reflect current industry practices and regulatory changes.
Mentor and supervise postgraduate and doctoral research candidates, guiding them through literature reviews, methodology design, and thesis writing.
Lead the Accountancy department in curriculum development, academic calendar planning, and faculty coordination, ensuring smooth execution of teaching schedules.
Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to policy formulation, and represent the department in college committees as required.
Maintain a robust research agenda, publishing findings in peer‑reviewed journals and presenting at national conferences to enhance the institution’s academic reputation.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Accountancy or related field with a minimum of 55% marks.
NET/SET certification is mandatory; a Ph.D. is preferred for advanced research and supervision roles.
Strong research background with a track record of publications, conference presentations, or industry collaborations.
Demonstrated ability to mentor students in research projects and guide them toward successful thesis completion.
Experience
Minimum 4 years of teaching experience at the college or university level, preferably in a PGT role.
Proven experience in research supervision, with at least one postgraduate thesis supervised to completion.
Leadership experience within an academic department, such as heading a course, coordinating a research group, or leading a faculty committee, is highly desirable.
Salary
Rs.40,000 – Rs.50,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
