About This Role

What You Will Do
1. Prepare and manage school budgets, including forecasting and variance analysis.
2. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations.
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
4. Conduct monthly and annual financial audits.
5. Develop and implement financial procedures and policies.
6. Analyze financial data to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
7. Manage cash flow and maintain a healthy bank balance.
8. Handle financial reporting and provide timely information to the management team.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a post-graduate degree in Commerce or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and finance is required. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Tally and MS Office, is a must. Knowledge of accounting software and financial analysis tools is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
We prefer candidates with experience in school accounting and familiarity with the education sector's financial regulations. Knowledge of local taxes and compliance requirements in Maharastra is essential.
