Job Title
PGT Physics Teacher – Full‑time position at The Sia Primary & High School | Thane.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Physics lessons to classes IX‑XII, aligning with the Maharashtra State Board curriculum. Prepare practical lab sessions, assess student performance, and maintain records of progress. Participate in department meetings, contribute to curriculum development and support co‑curricular activities such as science fairs and Olympiads.
Additional Duties
Mentor junior teachers and assist in organizing field trips to local science centres. Conduct remedial classes for students who need extra help and collaborate with parents during meetings. Uphold the school’s values of discipline, curiosity and holistic development.
Qualifications
B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Physics is mandatory. Candidates should possess a post‑graduate degree in Physics and have cleared TET/CTET, which is preferred. Minimum two years of teaching experience in a recognised school is essential.
Experience & Skills
Proven ability to simplify complex concepts and foster analytical thinking. Strong classroom management skills, familiarity with modern teaching aids and willingness to integrate digital tools. Effective communication in English and Marathi.
Salary
Rs.42,000 - Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
