Role Summary
The Academic Supervisor at Vidyarambh School will oversee the academic planning, monitoring and quality assurance for the Karanja campus. This role coordinates curriculum implementation, assessment policies and supports teachers in delivering standards set by the school board. Reporting directly to the Principal, the supervisor ensures smooth academic operations across all grades.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Lead the preparation and review of the school timetable, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
2. Monitor student performance data and generate reports for senior management.
3. Conduct regular audits of classroom practices and recommend improvements.
4. Organize professional development workshops and coordinate external training providers.
5. Liaise with the board and education department for compliance and accreditation matters.
6. Manage the academic calendar, examinations schedule and result declaration processes.
7. Resolve academic grievances from students, parents and staff in a timely manner.
8. Assist the Principal in budgeting for academic resources and infrastructure upgrades.
Who Can Apply
Candidates must possess a post‑graduate degree (M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, MBA or equivalent) and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed as a minimum qualification. A minimum of five years’ experience in school administration or academic leadership is required. Proficiency in MS Office, school management software and basic internet research is essential.
Preferred Skills
