PRT Music Teacher Job in Bhadrak, Odisha | School Recruitment
Utkal Gaurav International School in Bant, Bhadrak is looking for a passionate PRT Music Teacher to join its full‑time faculty. The role involves guiding students in musical concepts, performance skills, and creative expression within a dynamic school environment.
Daily responsibilities
- Conduct engaging music lessons for designated grade levels, incorporating theory, rhythm, and instrument practice.
- Prepare and distribute lesson plans, worksheets, and assessment tools aligned with the curriculum.
- Monitor student progress, offer constructive feedback, and maintain accurate attendance and performance records.
- Facilitate classroom activities that foster teamwork and musical collaboration among students.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle
- Design and execute unit plans that cover vocal techniques, instrumental proficiency, and music appreciation.
- Organize and lead school concerts, recitals, and inter‑class competitions, ensuring all logistics and safety measures are in place.
- Coordinate with other teachers to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects and school events.
- Maintain and troubleshoot musical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are clean, tuned, and ready for use.
Periodic responsibilities
- Lead annual music festivals and parent‑teacher meetings, presenting student achievements and program highlights.
- Conduct mid‑term and final evaluations, preparing detailed reports on student growth and areas for improvement.
- Participate in faculty development workshops and stay updated on contemporary music teaching methodologies.
Qualification and experience
- Graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in music.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred; TET/CTET certification is not mandatory but advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire students and create a positive learning atmosphere.
Salary and location
- Competitive salary ranging from Rs.12,000 to Rs.20,000 per month.
- Position based in Bant, Bhadrak, Odisha.
