Role Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Business Studies to join the faculty of St. Xavier School in Cuttack, Odisha. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Business Studies to students and contributing to the overall academic excellence of the institution.

What You Will Do

1. Teach Business Studies to students of different age groups and abilities.
2. Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations in accordance with the school's curriculum.
3. Conduct classes, lead discussions, and provide guidance to students.
4. Assess student progress, provide feedback, and offer support to students who require extra help.
5. Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to engage students and promote learning.
6. Collaborate with other teachers to plan interdisciplinary projects and activities.
7. Attend staff meetings, participate in school events, and contribute to the school's community.
8. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments.
9. Stay updated with curriculum changes, educational trends, and best practices in teaching Business Studies.

Eligibility Criteria

Must Have:
- Post Graduate degree in Business Studies or related field (M.Com, MBA, etc.)
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Business Studies
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Odia languages
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Good to Have:
- TET or CTET certification
- Experience in teaching Business Studies to students of different age groups
- Familiarity with curriculum design and implementation
- Knowledge of educational technology and its applications in the classroom

Preferred Skills

- Strong subject matter expertise in Business Studies
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Odia languages
- Familiarity with educational technology and its applications in the classroom
