English (PGT) Vacancy in Cuttack, Odisha
KMBB Public School
Job Description
The families of Cuttack expect strong English foundations so their children can compete beyond classrooms. Kmbb Public School stands in the heart of the city, where every student deserves a teacher who turns grammar drills into confidence and literature into lifelong curiosity.
Your presence will shape more than lesson plans. You will be the bridge between Odia roots and global opportunities, coaching students for debates, essays, and exams alike. Your classroom will echo with voices reading Tagore and Shakespeare, preparing learners for life beyond school gates.
Daily responsibilities include designing literature-rich lesson plans aligned with CBSE, conducting regular assessments that reveal individual progress, and mentoring students for inter-school English competitions. You will organize morning assemblies where learners recite poetry, coordinate library sessions that turn silent readers into voracious ones, and host parent meetings that explain how grammar and vocabulary open doors. Beyond academics, you will guide students in preparing for Olympiads and creative writing contests, ensuring every learner feels capable and heard.
Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree in English with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, experience of at least two years in English teaching will be valued. Familiarity with Odisha’s school culture and local language support is an asset.
This role matters because language shapes thought, and thought shapes futures. At Kmbb Public School, your work will ripple through generations of families who see English not as a subject but as a tool for progress. Your classroom will be a community space where hesitation turns to eloquence and silence turns to storytelling.
The position offers a salary between Rs.35,000 and Rs.52,000 per month based on qualifications and experience. Benefits include access to the school library, opportunities for professional development, and involvement in cultural events across Cuttack.
