Day-to-Day Duties

3. Plan and execute music curriculum aligned with CBSE guidelines.
4. Organize practice sessions for school choir and cultural programs.
5. Prepare students for inter-school music competitions in Cuttack.
6. Maintain instruments and classroom music equipment inventory.
7. Collaborate with art and dance teachers for annual day performances.
8. Introduce students to Odisha’s traditional folk music forms.
9. Assess student progress through periodic practical and theory tests.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
Graduate in Music from a recognized university
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in primary music education
Fluency in English and Odia
Basic computer skills for lesson planning
Good to Have
CTET/TET qualified
Experience in teaching Indian classical or Western music
Familiarity with digital music tools and apps
Prior work in CBSE-affiliated schools
