TGT Computer Science Teacher Position at Abs Oxford International School, Niali, Cuttack
Teach Computer Science to students in Class 9 and 10 with a focus on foundational programming concepts, algorithms, and digital literacy. Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with the latest CBSE curriculum, ensuring hands-on learning through coding exercises, projects, and practical demonstrations.
Design and execute interactive classroom sessions covering topics like Python basics, data structures, web development fundamentals, and cybersecurity awareness. Assess student progress through quizzes, projects, and continuous evaluation, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
Collaborate with the school’s technology department to integrate advanced tools like coding platforms, virtual labs, and hardware demonstrations. Maintain updated resources, including textbooks, online learning materials, and educational software, to support curriculum delivery.
Ensure compliance with school policies on digital ethics, cyber safety, and responsible technology use. Act as a mentor to junior teachers and students, fostering a supportive learning environment for Computer Science.
Hold a postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field. Minimum two years of teaching experience in Computer Science or a relevant subject. B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification required. TET/CTET certification preferred. Salary offered is Rs.18,000 to Rs.35,000 per month. Full-time, permanent position.
