About This Role
Day-to-Day Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans for Botany classes
- Conduct lectures and practicals for students
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Prepare and administer assessments and exams
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects
- Participate in professional development workshops and training programs
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to decision-making processes
- Participate in co-curricular activities and extracurricular events
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Botany (M.Sc.) from a recognized university
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university
- Valid TET or CTET certification is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary school
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and lead by example
