Job Overview
PGT Botany Teacher will conduct engaging lessons on plant biology, ecology and related laboratory work for secondary students. The role involves preparing lesson plans, managing classroom activities and guiding students through practical experiments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver curriculum‑aligned Botany lessons for classes IX to XII.
Supervise laboratory sessions, ensuring safety protocols and proper use of equipment.
Assess student performance through tests, projects and fieldwork assignments.
Collaborate with the science department to integrate interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular science events.
Maintain accurate attendance records and submit timely reports to the head of department.
Eligibility & Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Botany or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills and a passion for hands‑on teaching.
Compensation & Location
Competitive salary range of Rs.36,000 – Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
