What You Will Do
As a PRT Dance Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering dance lessons to students from Class I to XII
- Creating engaging lesson plans that integrate technology and innovative teaching methods
- Using digital tools to create and share dance resources, assignments, and feedback with students and parents
- Evaluating student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Collaborating with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Maintaining a safe and inclusive dance studio environment
- Participating in school events and performances
- Developing and updating dance curriculum in line with Odisha state board syllabus
- Maintaining accurate student records and progress reports
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you must be a graduate with a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree in Dance or a related field. Prior experience as a dance teacher is required, preferably in a school setting. A strong background in traditional Indian dances, such as Odissi, Kathak, or Bharatanatyam, is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills
We prefer candidates with digital literacy skills, including proficiency in Google Classroom, LMS, and smart board technology. Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms, such as Zoom or Google Meet, is also an asset.
