4. Organize monthly inter-house sports meets and record participation.
5. Maintain inventory of sports equipment and report shortages to the office.
6. Supervise students during PT periods and ensure safety protocols.
7. Assist in annual sports day planning and coordinate with external coaches.
8. Keep attendance records for PE periods and update class teachers.
9. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to sports policy reviews.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or Sports Science from a recognized university.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with specialization in Physical Education.
Minimum two years of teaching experience in a school environment.
Familiarity with CBSE sports curriculum and assessment formats.
Valid TET/CTET certificate preferred but not mandatory.
Good to Have
Experience in coaching district-level school teams.
Certificate in first aid and sports injury management.
Knowledge of yoga and fitness assessment tools.
Fluency in Odia and English for communication with students and parents.
Willingness to work flexible hours during tournaments and camps.
Preferred Skills
Excellent demonstration of sports skills in football, volleyball, and athletics.
Strong classroom management and student motivation techniques.
Ability to design age-specific fitness drills and games.
Familiarity with digital attendance and assessment tools.
Commitment to inclusive sports practices for differently-abled students.
Salary and Benefits
Rs.20,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience.
