PGT Chemistry Teacher Job in Kendujhar, Odisha
Role
Teach Chemistry to classes 8-12, preparing lesson plans, conducting experiments, and assessing student performance.
Lead laboratory sessions, ensuring safety protocols and proper maintenance of equipment.
Coordinate with senior faculty to integrate interdisciplinary projects and school science fairs.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons that meet state standards.
Develop laboratory manuals and supervise practical work, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Assess students through tests, assignments, and lab reports, providing constructive feedback.
Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development, and professional development workshops.
Mentor junior teachers and support students with special needs or learning difficulties.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Chemistry or related field.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
Strong command of scientific concepts and laboratory techniques.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably at the PGT level.
Experience with curriculum design and student assessment is advantageous.
Salary
Rs.30,000 – Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
