PGT Biology Teacher Position at Vivekananda Shiksha Kendra, Khordha
Vivekananda Shiksha Kendra in Khordha seeks a dedicated PGT Biology Teacher to inspire and guide students in their scientific exploration. This role requires a passion for biology education, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to engage students with hands-on learning. Based in Bhubaneswar’s corporate area, the position offers a competitive monthly salary of Rs.40,000 to Rs.50,000.
Daily Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging biology lessons aligned with the curriculum. Conduct practical experiments and demonstrations to reinforce theoretical concepts. Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback. Prepare and maintain well-organized class notes and lab manuals.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Coordinate with subject coordinators to ensure smooth curriculum implementation. Assist in organizing biology-related school events and competitions. Collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies.
Periodic Responsibilities
Assess student performance through regular tests, projects, and evaluations. Review and update teaching resources based on student feedback and curriculum updates. Ensure compliance with school policies and maintain professional development records.
To qualify, hold a postgraduate degree in Biology with at least four years of teaching experience. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial for career growth.
