Responsibilities
Teach Odia as a core subject in Gautam Budha International School, Puri, ensuring alignment with the curriculum framework. Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to students’ learning levels, focusing on Odia grammar, literature, and cultural aspects. Conduct interactive classroom sessions, including grammar exercises, poetry recitation, and storytelling to enhance comprehension and fluency.
Monitor students’ progress regularly through assessments, quizzes, and assignments, and provide constructive feedback to improve their language skills. Collaborate with the school’s Odia department to refine teaching methods and share best practices. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance as required by school policies.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Odia with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to qualify for the TGT position. Two years of teaching experience in Odia or related subjects is essential, preferably in schools with a focus on language proficiency. A TET or CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
