Key Responsibilities

Maintain classroom discipline, monitor attendance and ensure a safe learning environment.

Participate in parent‑teacher meetings, school events and continuous professional development sessions.
Typical Weekly Activities
Deliver a full complement of mathematics periods across the week, adapting instruction to varying student abilities.
Prepare teaching resources, visual aids and practical activities to reinforce concepts.
Review student work, update progress records and identify learners who need extra support.
Attend departmental meetings and contribute ideas for curriculum improvement.
Engage in occasional school‑wide activities such as sports day, cultural programs or community outreach.
Periodic Duties
Organise and conduct term examinations, compile results and submit reports to the administration.
Update the mathematics syllabus annually in consultation with the academic head.
Participate in school inspection visits and assist in preparing required documentation.
Undertake periodic training workshops to stay current with modern pedagogical techniques.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
Minimum two years of teaching experience in primary mathematics.
TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Salary
Rs.15,000 – Rs.25,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
