Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive lesson plans for Political Science across classes 6 to 8.
- Use interactive teaching methods, including debates, role‑plays, and multimedia presentations, to enhance student participation.
- Assess student performance through regular quizzes, assignments, and class projects, providing constructive feedback.
- Mentor and guide students preparing for state board examinations and other competitive tests.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects that link Political Science with Social Studies.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and report any student concerns to the school administration promptly.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and curriculum planning sessions.
- Encourage critical thinking by facilitating discussions on current affairs and constitutional topics.
- Prepare and update teaching materials, ensuring they reflect the latest educational standards and research.
- Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse viewpoints and promotes democratic values.
Qualification, experience, salary, location
Post‑graduate degree in Political Science or related field, B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred. Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a school setting. Full‑time position based in Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab. Salary ranges from Rs.22,000 to Rs.45,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
