Job Overview
Guru Atam Vallabh Jain Aadarsh Vidyalaya integrates smart boards, Google Classroom and a school LMS to make EVS lessons interactive and data-driven. The PRT EVS teacher will plan thematic units that blend textbook content with local field trips and digital assignments. Classroom sessions will use blended learning so students engage both in person and online.
Teaching Approach
Lessons will be delivered using smart boards for visual mapping of environmental topics and Google Earth for local geography studies. Weekly assignments will be uploaded to Google Classroom with auto-graded quizzes for instant feedback. The school LMS will track participation and assign remedial modules when needed.
Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare weekly EVS lesson plans aligned with NCERT themes and local context around Fazilka. Operate smart boards during classroom teaching of environmental concepts and community resources. Upload worksheets, audio clips and short videos to Google Classroom every Monday morning.
Create and grade auto-graded quizzes in Google Forms for quick assessment of topic understanding. Schedule monthly blended learning days where half the class works on LMS modules while the other half does hands-on EVS projects. Maintain digital attendance and participation logs in the school ERP system.
Conduct quarterly parent-teacher meetings using Google Meet for those unable to attend in person. Coordinate with the IT coordinator to troubleshoot basic smart board and LMS issues before classes begin.
Who Can Apply
Graduates in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed are eligible. Candidates with one year of classroom experience in EVS teaching will be preferred. Familiarity with basic digital tools is an advantage but not mandatory.
