Job Description
The Stalwart International School | Batala is seeking an experienced NTT Hindi Teacher to join their vibrant curriculum team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality Hindi instruction aligned with the school’s focus on language proficiency and cultural enrichment. The teacher will work closely with students to develop fluency in the language, ensuring engagement through interactive and age-appropriate methods.
The teacher will report directly to the Hindi department head, though reporting lines may vary based on classroom scheduling. The position emphasizes hands-on teaching, lesson planning, and student assessment in Hindi.
Core Duties
Teaching Hindi as a Second Language (NTT) to students from Class I to XII, ensuring age-appropriate language development. Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that incorporate grammar, vocabulary, literature, and cultural studies relevant to Punjab’s diverse linguistic heritage.
Creating and updating teaching resources such as workbooks, audio-visual aids, and digital materials to support classroom learning. Assisting in organizing school events like Hindi festivals, poetry recitals, and cultural workshops to promote language use in real-world contexts.
Participating in department meetings and collaborative planning sessions to refine teaching strategies. Maintaining accurate student records and evaluating progress through regular assessments and feedback sessions.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a strong foundation in Hindi language teaching. Possess a Graduate degree in Hindi, English, or a related field as a minimum requirement.
At least two years of teaching experience in Hindi or related subjects, preferably in a school setting. Familiarity with CBSE/NCTE curriculum guidelines for Hindi is highly beneficial. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
Compensation and Location
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 per month. The NTT Hindi Teacher will be based in Batala, Gurdaspur, Punjab, with the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic educational environment that values linguistic diversity and cultural pride.
