Responsibilities
Teach Accountancy at the senior secondary level, covering syllabi aligned with Punjab Board standards. Design engaging lesson plans, practical demonstrations, and real-world case studies to enhance conceptual understanding. Monitor students’ progress, provide constructive feedback, and ensure compliance with school assessment guidelines.
Prepare and maintain subject-wise records, including attendance, grades, and extracurricular contributions. Collaborate with senior management to align Accountancy curriculum with broader academic goals. Organize departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies and resource allocation.
Support students in co-curricular activities like business competitions and financial literacy workshops. Ensure smooth operation of the school’s accounting system, including record-keeping and compliance with financial regulations.
Qualifications
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a post-graduate qualification in Accountancy or Commerce. Strong command of the English language is essential for effective communication with students and parents.
Possess a valid TET/CTET certificate as a preferred qualification. Experience in teaching Accountancy at the senior level is highly valued. Familiarity with digital learning tools and educational software is beneficial.
Experience
Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in Accountancy at the senior secondary level. Proven track record of motivating students and fostering a strong academic environment. Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse student needs is a must.
Experience in curriculum development or mentoring junior teachers is an added advantage. Knowledge of local educational trends and Punjab Board guidelines will be advantageous.
Salary and Employment Type
