Guide students for Olympiads, CA-CPT, and other competitive exams.
Maintain updated teaching aids including charts, PPTs, and digital content.
Collaborate with other departments for cross-disciplinary projects.
Submit progress reports and attend monthly staff meetings.
Participate in school events like business fairs and model UN sessions.
Subject-specific qualifications and expertise
Postgraduate degree in Business Studies/Commerce with minimum 55% marks.
B.Ed degree mandatory; prior teaching experience of 3 years preferred.
Strong grasp of Accountancy, Economics, and Business Laws sections.
Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and recent amendments in GST or Income Tax.
Skills that make a great Business Studies teacher
Ability to simplify complex topics like balance sheets or marketing mix for students.
Excellent communication skills to explain real-world scenarios in classroom.
Tech-savviness to use Excel, Tally, or online simulations for teaching.
