PGT Business Studies Teacher Position at Lord Krishna International School, Sultanpur Lodhi

This role involves shaping young minds with a strong foundation in commerce, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. Daily Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging classroom lessons covering business fundamentals, market economics, and management concepts. Prepare interactive sessions to keep students engaged through real-world examples and case studies. Monitor student progress during lessons to address understanding gaps promptly. Maintain organized lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the school’s syllabus.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Coordinate with the department head to align teaching methods with school policies and curriculum updates. Assist in organizing business-related workshops or guest lectures for students, inviting industry professionals when possible. Participate in grade-level meetings to discuss student performance trends and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Ensure students complete homework and assignments on time, providing constructive feedback.
Periodic Responsibilities
Collaborate with other PGTs to develop interdisciplinary projects, such as business simulations or mock company presentations. Review and update teaching resources, including textbooks and digital materials, to ensure relevance and accuracy. Attend school-wide professional development sessions to refine teaching techniques and stay updated on educational trends in business studies.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Business Studies, Commerce, or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to qualify for teaching roles in Punjab. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a high school or senior secondary setting. Familiarity with TET/CTET guidelines is beneficial but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and a passion for shaping future entrepreneurs are essential.
Salary and Location
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.38,000 to Rs.70,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. The role is based in Sultanpur Lodhi, Kapurthala, Punjab, with a focus on fostering academic excellence in Business Studies.
